India is a developing nation. Although its economy is growing, poverty is still a major challenge. However, poverty is on the decline in India. It has around 86 million people living in extreme poverty. After independence, various efforts have been made to improve the socio-economic conditions of the tribals and to sustain the constitutional safeguard given to them. The Central and State Governments have made incessant efforts in the direction of tribal welfare and development. Special programmes for their development have been undertaken in the successive Five Year Plans. The aim was to bring them on par with other developed sections of the society. But the results are not encouraging. Many government programs are not reaching to them and due to lack of administration mechanism and documental problems, they are not getting social security programs by Govt. of India and Odisha.
There has been huge facilities for tribal children to get free meals and free education by donations from government and international institutions. But it is a matter of regret that only rich developed tribals are grabbing the opportunities rather than poor tribal families who are fighting with hunger and survival.
We are giving free meals and education to hungry tribal children until they get facilities from the Government.
We provide tribal people and children with the right to learn and education.
